Go. unravel this one.
go
–verb
1.
to move or proceed, especially to or from something:They're going by bus.
2.
to leave a place; depart: People were coming and going.
3.
it says it so many times in the bible. He is always calling us to do something- whether that means go and be still, rest or go feed the five thousand. it will happen in his timing and according to his will...usually beyond our understanding or expectations!
the word GO is something that keeps coming up in my life. even on Number Plates!
sometimes the thing that he is wanting us to do is right there-no. there. literally on your door step or right in front of you!
Go on.
Go.

L O V E. its all we need.

i want to want to choose Love over and over again.

![Liebe = Love: [luhv] noun, verb, loved, lov⋅ing by Martina Winkel Photography](http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2571/3730752068_1f84c7a33a_m.jpg)

i believe that Love is a choice, not Just a feeling. there is a great lover, one who died for me.
it leaves a mark on me. my heart and my life. i want to choose it always.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

i want to choose it. because it sets me free. sets me free to love others. see his calling upon their life. see them the way he does.
1 John 3:16
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

God is love. the kind of love we crave. i want to love like he does.
Love is...1 Corinthians 13 this is what love looks like. its his love that within us drives us, sets us free, leads us, satisfies our deepest needs and wants...

ONE john FOUR
...love is a verb.

what will you choose?

Here is another minty-chew on dat.: courage
"Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the knowledge that there is something greater."
That is one of my favourite quotes.
I was ch alleged by this question today during a preach at my church, "is god asking you to do something" and i want to ask you the same thing.
i thought well for some it may not seem like he is, like sometimes it feels to me, its WHISPER, ITS QUIET, its that person that you keep seeing, its those word you keep hearing ...but then a statement came into my mind:
just open up the word there you will see i am asking you to DO.
i was like DAR!
"no seriously look , read and see that it might not specific like, ""TALK TO THAT GIRL", get married to him, pray for them , phone Jim Bob and tell Felicia Friendly she's beautiful" but look in the BIBLE and understand with the wisdom that God generously gives to those who asks"
and i was like ooh OK . True.
On Friday i attended a 'NEW LIFE" - early Christians program thing with some girls whom have just recently joined the race with Jesus. Its a program, teaching them about discipleship and the basics. We got into the passage of
I felt like i was new after this reading. and today was reminded again of the words we read on Friday. "DON'T LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED. TRUST IN GOD.....and pray for anything and you can have it when you are connected to me" and so on.
and so now you are probably still trying to put one and one together and asking "and so why did you start with that quote hey?" and i am going to answer you riiiight... now.
TO DO WHAT GOD IS ASKING OF YOU - whether it be specific - where he names names and points fingers or just what he's asked and promised in his word - YOU HAVE TO HAVE COURAGE.
now courage is not being with our fear, but its when you self - deny, forget embarrassment and realise that what you will do and are doing is contributing to A GREATER CAUSE or picture. which God has control over. its when you trust in him. you put one foot forward and he'll help you run.
i believe we have to be live in a "faith space" where we are challenged and almost forced to trust in him. when was the last time you stepped out of your square. with most of Gods words he reveals promises. he'll meet you half way. draw near to him and he'll draw near to you.
as surely as the sun will rise he'll come to us
and once we start trusting in him CRAZY things start happening- beyond the picture we can see.
so i ask you- WHAT IS ASKING YOU TO DO riiiiight ...now?
and remember that "Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the knowledge that there is something greater."

Minties
Sometimes life can be , not boring, because only boring people get bored! but it can be flat, unmoving, still and stale like bread that has been left in the sun for toast.
crispy and harsh - i know
It is in these times that we need minties (whether it be a spiritual one or a Sweet or even a word of wisdom) . a quick freshen up , a pit stop.
life is a journey and we all need a rest stop. like when going driving we need to "Stop-revive-Survive" every two hours. doesn't that just show us that on our life journeys, which requires more than cruise control we need to take a chill pill- or a mintie for a freshen up, pretty regularly ?
in my life at the moment i am moving house-fun stuff- having to throw a lot of stuff out is liberating and also annoying! one of the things i came across was an old mintie wrapper i took a brief look at it before chucking it out , thinking not much of it, it consisted of a cartoon guy holding his electric guitar with the amp on the floor and the wires all frayed.
its moments like these we need minties.
as a song leader and a member of the music team of my awesome youth movement at my church "INFERNO" i know that this would be annoying to everyone!
Ha ha ha, if this happened we would definitely need a mintie- actually more than this, we would need A SURVIVOR-REVIVER STOP! which would involve prayer!, yes a lot of prayer-izzle
God is good.
And God wants us to chill every now and then.
" in the quiet in the stillness know that i am God"
"cast your cares on me, coz i care for YOU!"
My life is busy, sometimes stale but I can liven it up with a spiritual mintie- YOU CAN TOO
i get freshness from worship- tap on the music - ' itune' into God- sing to him- this livens the mind and spirit i don't know how but it does. i was sick last year with pneumonia and felt down and this year doing my HSC i have to study a bit to get the marks i want- and often i don't want to do it. but in these moments i sing out loud it changes my attitude, something about the spirit of the songs. a favourite to sing is "Nothing is Impossible"(planetshakers) also re freshened me during my mission work in the Bali heat!
I think because worship is making it about God and not our selves it makes us realise that there is something greater than the little moment we are in.
God gave his all so why don't we just give him a little?
i believe that this quote ties this up nicely:
THANK GOD FOR TODAY AND PRAY ABOUT TOMORROW - it only takes a song
i challenge you to SING to him and feel refreshed by the spiritual mintie...
